About The Position

SPAR is expanding its part-time Retail Merchandiser team. The role services a variety of clients and retailers through recurring weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly visits. Merchandising work is generally scheduled within a client’s time window rather than fixed hours, allowing for a flexible schedule. Tasks may include servicing products, resets, product cut-ins, returns, point-of-purchase placement, and other general merchandising activities. Some travel between stores may be involved.

Requirements

Merchandising and/or retail experience.
Availability during weekday daytime hours.
Ability to understand planograms.
Ability to repeatedly carry and lift up to 40 lbs.
Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
Internet access and an active email address.
An Android or iOS smartphone and/or tablet for wireless reporting.
Reliable transportation; some travel is involved.

Responsibilities

Meet with the site or department manager, as applicable, to review the objectives of the service call.
Locate displays.
Remove old product from displays.
Complete full inventory and scanning.
Validate product stocking, merchandising, and display systems using planograms.
Maintain quality results by following and enforcing standards.
Possibly travel between stores to manage merchandise setup, displays, or current promotions.
Complete the call form and upload photos taken.
Report completed client work on the same day as service.
