About The Position

SPAR is hiring part-time Retail Merchandisers to service a variety of clients and retailers through ongoing weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly visits. Merchandising work is generally scheduled within a client’s available time window rather than set hours, allowing for a flexible schedule. The role may involve servicing different products, conducting resets and product cut-ins, processing returns, placing point-of-purchase materials, and performing other general merchandising activities. Some travel between stores may be required. SPAR provides end-to-end retail and consumer goods services, using software solutions and experienced resources to help clients make products available and present them effectively. Requirements

Merchandising and/or retail experience.
Availability during weekday daytime hours.
Ability to understand planograms.
Ability to repeatedly carry and lift up to 40 pounds.
Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
Internet access with an active email address.
An Android or iOS smartphone and/or tablet for wireless reporting.
Reliable transportation; some travel is involved.

Responsibilities

Meet with the site or department manager, as applicable, to review the objectives of the service call.
Locate displays and remove old products from them.
Complete full inventory and scanning.
Validate product stocking, merchandising, and display systems using planograms.
Maintain quality results by following and enforcing standards.
Travel between stores as needed to manage merchandise setup, displays, or current promotions.
Complete the call form and upload photos taken.
Report completed client work on the same day as service.
