Part Time Retail Merchandiser

About The Position

SPAR is expanding its part-time Retail Merchandiser team. Merchandisers support a variety of clients and retailers through ongoing visits scheduled weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. Much of the work is arranged around a client’s service window rather than set hours, offering a flexible schedule. Work may include servicing products, conducting resets and product cut-ins, processing returns, placing point-of-purchase materials, and other general merchandising activities. The role may involve traveling between stores to set up or display merchandise and current promotions. SPAR provides merchandising services for companies in the retail and consumer goods industries, using software solutions and experienced resources to help ensure client products are available and presented effectively. Requirements

Merchandising and/or retail experience.
Availability during weekday daytime hours.
Ability to understand planograms.
Ability to repeatedly carry and lift up to 40 lbs.
Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
Internet access with an active email address.
Android or iOS smartphone and/or tablet for wireless reporting.
Reliable transportation; some travel is involved.

Responsibilities

Meet with the site or department manager, as applicable, to review service-call objectives.
Locate displays.
Remove old product from displays.
Complete full inventory and scanning.
Validate product stocking, merchandising, and display systems using planograms.
Maintain quality results by following and enforcing standards.
Possibly travel between stores to manage merchandise setup, displays, or current promotions.
Complete the call form and upload photos taken.
Report completed client work on the same day as service.
