About The Position

SPAR is expanding its part-time Retail Merchandiser team. Merchandisers perform work for a variety of clients and retailers, including servicing products, conducting resets and product cut-ins, processing returns, placing point-of-purchase materials, and carrying out other general merchandising activities. Work is generally scheduled within a client-defined time window rather than for specific hours, offering a flexible schedule. Ongoing assignments may involve weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly visits. SPAR provides merchandising services to clients and supports product availability and presentation through software solutions, experienced resources, and a focus on client return on investment. The role may involve traveling between stores and setting up or displaying merchandise and promotions.

Requirements

Merchandising and/or retail experience.
Availability during weekday daytime hours.
Ability to understand planograms.
Ability to repeatedly carry and lift up to 40 pounds.
Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
Internet access with an active email address.
An Android or iOS smartphone and/or tablet for wireless reporting.
Reliable transportation; some travel is involved.

Responsibilities

Meet with the site or department manager, as applicable, to review service-call objectives.
Locate displays and remove old product from them.
Complete full inventory and scanning.
Validate product stocking, merchandising, and display systems using planograms.
Maintain quality results by following and enforcing standards.
Travel between stores as needed to manage merchandise setup, displays, or current promotions.
Complete the call form and upload photos taken.
Report completion of client work on the same day as service.
