About The Position

SPAR is hiring part-time Retail Merchandisers to service a variety of clients and retailers on weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly visits. Work is generally scheduled within a client’s service window rather than for fixed hours, offering a flexible schedule. Merchandisers may service various products and perform resets, product cut-ins, returns, point-of-purchase placement, and other general merchandising activities. Some assignments may involve traveling between stores to set up or display merchandise or current promotions.

Requirements

Merchandising and/or retail experience.
Availability during weekday daytime hours.
Ability to understand planograms.
Ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
Internet access and an active email address.
An Android or iOS smartphone and/or tablet for wireless reporting.
Reliable transportation; some travel is involved.

Responsibilities

Meet with the site or department manager, as applicable, to review service-call objectives.
Locate displays.
Remove old product from displays.
Complete full inventory and scanning.
Validate product stocking, merchandising, and display systems using planograms.
Maintain quality results by following and enforcing standards.
Travel between stores as needed to set up or display merchandise or current promotions.
Complete the call form and upload photos.
Report completed client work on the same day as service.
