About The Position

SPAR is hiring a part-time Retail Merchandiser to service a variety of clients and retailers through weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly visits. Work is generally scheduled within a client’s available time window rather than for specific hours, allowing a flexible schedule. Merchandising activities may include product resets and cut-ins, returns, placement of point-of-purchase materials, and other general merchandising work. Assignments may involve traveling between stores and setting up merchandise displays or promotions.

Requirements

Merchandising and/or retail experience.
Availability during weekday daytime hours.
Ability to understand planograms.
Ability to repeatedly carry and lift up to 40 lbs.
Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
Internet access with an active email address.
An Android or iOS smartphone and/or tablet for wireless reporting.
Reliable transportation; some travel is involved.

Responsibilities

Meet with the site or department manager, as applicable, to review the objectives of each service call.
Locate displays and remove old products from them.
Complete full inventory and scanning.
Validate product stocking, merchandising, and display systems using planograms.
Maintain quality results by following and enforcing standards.
Travel between stores as needed to manage merchandise setup and displays or current promotions.
Complete the call form and upload photos taken.
Report completed client work on the same day as service.
