About The Position

SPAR is expanding its part-time Retail Merchandiser team. Merchandisers provide merchandising services for a variety of clients and retailers, including product resets, cut-ins, returns, point-of-purchase placement, and other general merchandising activities. Work is generally scheduled within a client’s service window rather than at specific hours, offering flexibility. Assignments may involve weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly visits and may require travel between stores. Requirements

Merchandising and/or retail experience.
Availability during weekday daytime hours.
Ability to understand planograms.
Ability to repeatedly carry and lift up to 40 lbs.
Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
Internet access and an active email address.
Android or iOS smartphone and/or tablet for wireless reporting.
Reliable transportation; some travel is involved.

Responsibilities

Meet with the site or department manager, as applicable, to review service-call objectives.
Locate displays and remove old product from them.
Complete full inventory and scanning.
Validate product stocking, merchandising, and display systems using planograms.
Maintain quality results by following and enforcing standards.
Possibly travel between stores to manage merchandise setup, displays, or current promotions.
Complete the call form and upload photos.
Report client work completions on the same day as service.
