About The Position

SPAR is expanding its part-time Retail Merchandiser team. Merchandisers service a variety of products and clients, performing resets, product cut-ins, returns, point-of-purchase placement, and other general merchandising activities. Work is generally scheduled within a client’s service window rather than for specific hours, offering a flexible schedule. Assignments may involve weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly visits and travel between stores.

Requirements

• Merchandising and/or retail experience.
• Availability during weekday daytime hours.
• Ability to understand planograms.
• Ability to repeatedly carry and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
• Internet access and an active email address.
• Android or iOS smartphone and/or tablet for wireless reporting.
• Reliable transportation; some travel is involved.

Responsibilities

• Meet with the site or department manager, as applicable, to review service-call objectives.
• Locate displays.
• Remove old product from displays.
• Complete full inventory and scanning.
• Validate product stocking, merchandising, and display systems using planograms.
• Maintain quality results by following and enforcing standards.
• Travel between stores as needed to manage merchandise setup, displays, or current promotions.
• Complete the call form and upload photos.
• Report completed client work on the same day as service.
