About The Position

Franklin Retail Solutions is seeking a part-time Retail Merchandiser (Sell-Through Specialist / Brand Rep) to support sporting goods stores in the Modesto, California area. The role involves organizing, styling, and showcasing brands in stores, while sharing observations that can improve the shopping experience. Work is performed independently, with remote communication with the team. Store visits are typically on weekdays, and the schedule is flexible. The merchandiser uses the MVP platform to review projects, schedule store visits, and submit reports; builds relationships with store managers and staff; follows planograms; takes before-and-after photos; and reports observations about merchandising and product performance. The company works with brands in the sports, outdoor, fitness, and health industries, developing and managing retail marketing, merchandising, and training programs executed by a network of field professionals. Candidates should have retail or merchandising experience, strong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time and work independently. Reliable transportation, a smartphone or tablet or camera for photos and reporting, a functioning computer, and reliable high-speed internet access are required.
