About The Position

Franklin Retail Solutions is seeking a part-time Retail Merchandiser (Sell-Through Specialist / Brand Rep) to support sporting goods stores in the Orland Park, Illinois area. The role involves organizing, styling, and showcasing brands in stores, maintaining displays to planograms, and sharing observations that can improve the shopping experience. The position is flexible, with store visits typically scheduled on weekdays. Merchandisers work independently and stay connected with the team remotely.

Requirements

Retail or merchandising experience.
Retail and product knowledge, sales and marketing, creative merchandising, and customer service skills.
Organization, attention to detail, store relationship enhancement, territory management, and stock management skills.
Planogram knowledge.
Strong communication and rapport-building skills, including the ability to communicate remotely.
Ability to complete professionally written online reports.
A smartphone, tablet, or camera for reports and digital photographs.
Reliable transportation to travel to stores.
A functioning computer and reliable high-speed internet access.

Responsibilities

Use the MVP platform to review projects, schedule store visits, and submit reports.
Communicate and build relationships with store managers and staff.
Set up and maintain displays according to planograms.
Take before-and-after photographs of merchandising work.
Observe and report on what is and is not working in stores.
Manage time and territory while working independently.
