About The Position

SPAR is expanding its part-time Retail Merchandiser team. Merchandisers service a variety of clients and retailers through ongoing weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly visits. Work is generally scheduled within client time windows rather than fixed hours, allowing for a flexible schedule. Tasks may include merchandising products, conducting resets and product cut-ins, processing returns, placing point-of-purchase materials, and other general merchandising activities. The role may involve traveling between stores to set up or display merchandise and current promotions. SPAR provides end-to-end retail and consumer-goods services, using software solutions, experienced resources, and a focus on client return on investment. Requirements

Merchandising and/or retail experience.
Availability during weekday daytime hours.
Ability to understand planograms.
Ability to carry and lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
Internet access and an active email address.
An Android or iOS smartphone and/or tablet for wireless reporting.
Reliable transportation; some travel is involved.

Responsibilities

Meet with the site or department manager, as applicable, to review the objectives of the service call.
Locate displays.
Remove old products from displays.
Complete full inventory and scanning.
Validate product stocking, merchandising, and display systems using planograms.
Maintain quality results by following and enforcing standards.
Travel between stores as needed to manage merchandise setup, displays, or current promotions.
Complete the call form and upload photos.
Report completed client work on the same day as service.
