About The Position

The Retail Merchandise Processor works as a member of the store team to support an excellent customer and brand experience and promote sales. The role processes donated merchandise for sale at Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona and its affiliated store locations, including pricing and ticketing. The processor maintains the sales floor and workstation, stocks merchandise in assigned areas, and follows department quotas and established floorwork and picture process map standards. The position requires regular, consistent in-person attendance and work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Requirements

Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for the position.
Ability to lift, bend, push, turn, and manipulate fine objects.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

Receive and process merchandise, including pricing and ticketing, while meeting assigned department minimum quotas, item-per-Gaylord, and sell-through targets.
Maintain regular and consistent in-person attendance.
Safeguard company property, including donated goods, and report theft, pre-selection, misappropriation, or unauthorized possession of company property.
Maintain the sales floor and workstation according to floorwork and picture process map (PPM) standards.
Stock merchandise in the appropriate assigned area.
Use appropriate judgment and observation to notify a leader about potentially hazardous or dangerous materials found while processing merchandise for storage or disposal.
Follow safety rules, use appropriate safety equipment, and immediately address or report unsafe conditions and potential hazards.
