About The Position

The Retail Merchandise Processor works as a member of the store team to support an excellent customer and brand experience and promote sales. The role processes donated merchandise for sale at Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona and its affiliated store locations, including pricing and ticketing items and meeting assigned department quotas and sell-through standards.

The processor maintains the sales floor and workstation according to floorwork and picture process map standards, stocks merchandise in assigned areas, and follows safety procedures while handling goods. The position requires regular in-person attendance and the ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. The employee is expected to model Goodwill’s core values of Trust, Collaboration, Engagement, Ownership, and Innovation and perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Speak and read English proficiently.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Pass a background check and drug screen where applicable for the position.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Ability to lift, bend, push, turn, and manipulate fine objects.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process merchandise, including pricing and ticketing, while meeting assigned department quotas, item-per-Gaylord standards, and sell-through targets.
• Maintain regular and consistent in-person attendance.
• Safeguard company property, including donated goods, and report theft, pre-selection, misappropriation, or unauthorized possession.
• Maintain the sales floor and workstation according to floorwork and PPM (picture process map) standards.
• Stock merchandise in the appropriate assigned area.
• Use appropriate judgment and observation to alert a leader to potentially hazardous or dangerous materials found during processing for storage or disposal.
• Follow safety rules, use appropriate safety equipment, and promptly act on or report unsafe conditions and potential hazards.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.
