About The Position

The Key Carrier is an elevated extension of the Coordinator role. Key Carriers primarily perform Coordinator duties and occasionally act as Key Carrier, taking on a leadership role in maintaining all aspects of the store. The position requires open availability, including nights and weekends. The role models exceptional customer service, supports store operations and team performance, and helps maintain a safe, compliant environment. Starting pay is $17.00 to $17.50 per hour; actual pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Requirements

• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• One year of retail experience.
• Six months of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Role model exceptional customer service and create a positive experience for internal and external customers.
• Promote honesty and integrity and maintain confidentiality.
• Act as Manager on Duty in accordance with company policy and procedure.
• Ensure the store team completes tasks and activities according to the store plan, prioritizing as needed.
• Address immediate customer service issues, provide appropriate coaching, and use discretion with customer service policies to satisfy customers.
• Maintain accurate Associate coverage in service areas.
• Ensure Associates follow operational procedures and opening and closing procedures are completed according to company guidelines.
• Communicate priorities and progress accurately and effectively with management and Associates.
• Give and accept recognition and constructive feedback; provide feedback, recognition, and coaching to Associates.
• Partner with Management on Associate training needs.
• Ensure adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Support and participate in shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
