About The Position

WIS International is urgently hiring Retail Inventory Associate Drivers throughout the greater Hartford Area, including Hartford, East Hartford, Manchester, Newington, Plainville, and New Britain. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling, paid training, and performance-based pay increases. The hourly rate ranges from $18.00 to $23.00, based on comparable employee positions. The company provides all necessary training, so no prior inventory experience is required. Drivers are responsible for safely transporting employees to and from inventory events, counting and recording retail inventory using handheld scanners, maintaining accuracy, and meeting productivity goals. This is an active job that involves standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 25 pounds in a fast-paced retail environment.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid driver’s license within the state of residence for a minimum of 36 consecutive months
• At least 21 years old to be a qualified van driver and must be at least 18 years old to drive a personal vehicle for business needs
• Reliable transportation
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable using handheld technology
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• A minimum of three (3) years proven driving experience
• Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment investigative consumer report, pre-employment screening and MVR check in accordance with company standards
• Familiarity with GPS devices and how to navigate to assigned locations
• Availability to work flexible schedules with varying hours in support of the District Manager and customer commitments, this includes very early mornings and/or late nights
