About The Position

The Retail Inventory Supervisor (Part-Time) role is for individuals who can demonstrate discipline, accuracy, and consistency in coaching and training inventory associates. This position is ideal for those who enjoy training others and are driven by results. The role involves supervising inventory operations across various retail locations in the greater Hartford Area, including Hartford, East Hartford, Manchester, Newington, Plainville, and New Britain. The supervisor will lead by example, embodying the company's core values of Spirit, Pride, Integrity, Results, Innovation, and Teamwork.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an Inventory Associate or similar role
  • Reliable transportation
  • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong time management skills
  • Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills focused on providing solutions when faced with challenges
  • Ability to work flexible schedules with varying hours in support of the District Manager and customer commitments
  • Strong focus and attention to detail
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Willing to submit to a pre-employment Investigative Consumer Report and drug screen in accordance with company guidelines if required
  • A valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and/or meeting the WIS Fleet driver requirements may be required.

  • Retail, stocking, merchandising, warehouse, customer service, cashier, delivery driver, gamer, athlete, coaches, and general labor experience are all valuable backgrounds for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Coach and develop Inventory Associates
  • Follow a clear, consistent workflow
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for resolving inventory related concerns
  • Partner with District Managers and Area Managers to drive operational excellence
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Travel to retail locations
