About The Position

The Retail Host provides fast, courteous, and service-oriented assistance to guests shopping for souvenirs and merchandise at Adventureland Park. Hosts welcome guests, answer product questions, promote sales and merchandise, operate point-of-sale equipment, and help keep retail areas stocked, organized, clean, and safe. The position may include operating mobile retail carts and rotating food and beverage products according to department standards and health regulations.

The role is based in one or more retail locations throughout the park and involves indoor and outdoor work, with exposure to changing weather, dust, and cleaning agents. This is a seasonal opportunity with a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Requirements

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests entering retail locations.
• Engage with guests and answer questions about merchandise and souvenirs.
• Maintain general knowledge of available merchandise, current sales, and promotions.
• Promote sales and increase revenue through techniques such as suggestive selling and upselling.
• Resolve guest concerns courteously and promptly.
• Accurately operate point-of-sale equipment to complete purchases.
• Keep merchandise stocked, organized, and presentable.
• Keep retail locations clean and safe.
• Refold or rehang clothing items as needed.
• Assist managers and supervisors with inventory control.
• Process and return damaged merchandise according to company policies.
• Operate mobile retail carts when applicable.
• Rotate food and beverage products according to department standards and health code regulations.
• Use a step ladder safely and properly to reach higher shelving.
• Remain vigilant for possible theft by guests or employees.
• Notify leadership when supplies are running low.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to a supervisor or manager promptly.
• Perform other duties assigned by leadership.
