About The Position

Lidl’s 23-month rotational graduate programme provides experience across Stores, Warehouses and Supply Chain, developing leadership skills and business knowledge with the aim of preparing participants to become retail managers. In Year 1, participants rotate through Sales in stores, Logistics in a warehouse, and Supply Chain in a regional office. In Year 2, they choose a specialist route in Store, Warehouse or Supply Chain Management and build expertise and management experience in that area. The programme offers a challenging opportunity to develop into a retail leader.

Requirements

A 2:2 or higher in a Bachelor's degree.
Eligibility to work full-time in the UK and provide proof when required.
Willingness to travel regularly to stores and live within commuting distance of the chosen Regional Distribution Centre.
A full UK driving licence by 1st February 2027.
Assertiveness and confidence in communication to build strong, valuable relationships.
A proactive, hands-on mindset and a strong desire to understand core operational processes.
Enthusiasm to learn, develop and succeed in a fast-moving, challenging environment.
Resilience and determination, with the ability to stay motivated, adapt to challenges and maintain a positive approach.
Ability to attend the assessment day on 15/01/2027.

Responsibilities

Gain experience in store roles, beginning as a Customer Assistant and progressing through to store management.
Rotate through the three core warehouse areas to learn logistics and warehousing fundamentals, then join the warehouse management team.
Learn how to order products, manage quality and freshness, and work with suppliers in the supply chain.
Choose and develop expertise in Store, Warehouse or Supply Chain Management during Year 2.
