About The Position

At Burlington, the Retail Front End Supervisor is an integral member of the store leadership team, working closely with Store Management in merchandising, customer service, operations, and human resources. This leadership role is described as a stepping-stone to management. The supervisor oversees store functions and associates while serving as Manager on Duty, supports front-end operations and exceptional customer service, and helps build effective teams and partnerships. Burlington offers a competitive wage of $15.50 to $17.50 per hour, flexible hours, an associate discount, and benefits for eligible associates. The position requires a full-time schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

At least 1 year of supervisory experience in an off-price, big box, or specialty environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, engaging attitude.
Ability to work a full-time schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Ability to move, handle, or lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Supervise store functions and associates while serving as Manager on Duty.
Maximize sales results by training, developing, and coaching direct reports.
Promote customer and associate safety by following company guidelines.
Cultivate a diverse culture based on teamwork and collaboration.
Resolve issues and concerns, make informed decisions, and supervise front-end operations to provide exceptional, friendly, and professional customer service.
Reinforce company Asset Protection strategies to eliminate shortage.
Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding associates.
Participate in weekly workload planning meetings.
Drive participation in Community Relations through company programs and partnerships.
Coordinate meal and break periods and monitor schedule adherence.
