About The Position

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Retail Foodservice Manager 2 to lead daily retail foodservice operations for 2 hospitals, HMH Old Bridge Medical Center and Raritan Bay Medical Center located in Old Bridge and Perth Amboy, New Jersey. Old Bridge Medical Center operates 113 beds and Raritan Bay operates at 365 beds. They are both community hospitals and part of the Hackensack Meridian Health network.

• Previous supervisory experience
• Ability to work collaboratively
• Ability to drive employee success to enhance the value of the food and nutrition team
• Prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
• Can manage multiple priorities
• Demonstrate professional communication skills
• Passion for a high level of customer service
• Minimum 1 year of management experience
• High School Diploma or GED or Equivalent

Responsibilities

• Oversee front and back-of-house retail operations in two locations
• Manage a team of frontline staff members
• Develop retail menus and promotions
• Handle cash
• Drive retail sales
• Have oversight of day-to-day retail operations
• Achieve company and client financial targets and goals
• Develop and maintain client and customer relationships
• Ensure HACCP, regulatory and standards compliance
• Ensure Sodexo standards are met
