About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Retail Manager 3 to lead high volume retail operations for their food team at HMH Jersey Shore Medical Center located in Neptune City, New Jersey. Jersey Shore Medical Center operates with approximately 700 beds, serving as a major regional academic medical center. Specific recent data indicates it has 628 staffed beds and includes an 88-bed children's hospital (K. Hovnanian Children's Hospital).

Requirements

• Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
• Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year of work experience in concessions, retail sales, or store operations
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest culinary standards
• Strong coaching and employee development skills
• Have a passion for food and innovation

Responsibilities

• Ensure a zero-harm mindset for ourselves, our customers, our food & employees.
• Directs daily operations of food quality & customer service in a retail food operation, including branded concepts, ensuring employees have appropriate equipment, supplies, and resources.
• Manages cash handling protocols & control procedures according to Sodexo policies.
• Maintains client satisfaction with food quality & customer service.
• Accountable for delivering service quality by maintaining the highest standards.
• Supervises day-to-day work activities of food service workers.
