About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Retail Food Manager 1 to support retail food operations at Kaiser Permanente in San Jose, California . This role is ideal for a customer-focused leader who enjoys overseeing cash-handling retail environments that include branded concepts, in-house formats, and signature designs. The Retail Food Manager 1 plays an important role in maintaining food quality, service standards, and positive customer relationships in a healthcare setting. SodexoMagic is the joint venture partnership between NBA Hall of Famer, Earvin “Magic” Johnson and Sodexo. This strategic alliance enables us to deliver creative solutions to our clients along with our local partners throughout the communities we serve. For almost 20 years, we have provided top-level food, facilities management and integrated services to corporations, healthcare facilities, K-12 schools, colleges, universities and aviation lounges.

Requirements

Experience working in a cash-handling retail food operation with a focus on customer service and food quality
Familiarity with branded concepts, in-house dining formats, and signature retail designs
Basic knowledge of cash control, payroll processes, and HR-related support functions
The ability to provide guidance and oversight to a small team, supervising fewer than two full-time employees
Minimum Education Requirement - High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience
