About The Position

Micro Center is seeking self-motivated, results-oriented Retail Customer Service Representatives/Cashiers to serve customers at the point of sale and checkout area. The role supports customer satisfaction and repeat business while helping maintain the department and support store operations. This is a seasonal position with shifts that may fall before or after the store is open to the public and may include mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays. The listed pay range is $17–$20 per hour. Micro Center describes itself as a technology superstore with a selection of more than 40,000 computer products and emphasizes customer service and long-term customer relationships.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Sincere interest in helping customers and driving world-class customer experiences.
Ability to communicate professionally and handle multiple customers.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

Provide superior service while assisting customers at the point of sale and checkout area.
Build repeat business through customer satisfaction.
Maintain a clean work area, conduct cycle counts, stock and replenish products, and participate in merchandising activities.
Participate in store opening and closing procedures.
Support store operations by maintaining loss prevention awareness, assisting with store office activities, and helping prepare for physical inventory.
