About The Position

Micro Center is hiring seasonal, part-time Retail Customer Service Representatives/Cashiers for its technology superstore. The role focuses on providing superior service at checkout, maintaining the department and supporting store operations. Shifts may include hours before and after the store is open to the public, as well as mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Offers are contingent on successful completion of a pre-employment background check and substance abuse screening.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Sincere interest in helping customers and driving world-class customer experiences.
• Ability to communicate professionally and handle multiple customers.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background check and substance abuse screening is required for an offer.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior service to customers at the point of sale and checkout, building repeat business through customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean work area; conduct cycle counts; stock and replenish products; and participate in merchandising activities.
• Participate in store opening and closing procedures.
• Support store operations by maintaining loss-prevention awareness, assisting with store office activities, and helping prepare for physical inventory.
