About The Position

Micro Center is hiring seasonal, part-time Retail Customer Service Representatives/Cashiers to assist customers at checkout and support store operations. The role involves providing superior customer service, maintaining the department and work area, participating in opening and closing procedures, and supporting loss prevention and inventory activities. Shifts may include hours before or after the store is open to the public, as well as mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays. The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for prolonged periods. Employment offers are contingent on successfully completing a pre-employment background check and substance abuse screening.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Sincere interest in helping customers and delivering world-class customer experiences.
Ability to communicate professionally and handle multiple customers.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.
Availability for shifts that may include hours before or after the store is open to the public, mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and substance abuse screening.

Responsibilities

Provide superior service to customers at the point of sale and checkout, building repeat business through customer satisfaction.
Maintain the department by keeping the work area clean, conducting cycle counts, stocking and replenishing products, and participating in merchandising activities.

Support store operations by maintaining loss prevention awareness, assisting with store office activities, and helping prepare for physical inventory.
