About The Position

AKHIRE is recruiting a Retail Customer Service Associate to support front-end operations, processing, and donation receiving. The role helps ensure merchandise flows efficiently while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment. This is a temp-to-permanent, full-time position in Anchorage, Alaska, starting at $16.00 per hour. Scheduling varies according to availability, within operating hours of 7:45 AM to 9:15 PM, Monday through Sunday.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must pass a background check and a drug screen that tests for marijuana.
• Must regularly lift 10–35 pounds.
• Must be available during operating hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting, assisting, and engaging with customers.
• Operate the cash register and point-of-sale (POS) system; accurately handle transactions, balance the cash drawer, and complete daily register reports as required.
• Restock merchandise, create displays, and maintain an organized, visually appealing sales floor.
• Receive, sort, and price donated goods.
• Maintain clean, safe, and efficient sales floor, fitting room, donation, production, and restroom areas.
