About The Position

The Retail Customer Experience Coordinator is responsible for promoting an excellent customer experience and overseeing Associates at the front of the store. The role ensures prompt, courteous customer service and promotes loyalty programs. The Coordinator leads by example through customer engagement, maintaining a clean and organized store, and modeling outstanding service. The position also supports front-end operations, Associate training, store priorities, safety, and shrink reduction.

Requirements

Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
Strong understanding of merchandising techniques.
Able to multitask.
Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
Team player who works effectively with peers and supervisors.
Able to train others.
One year of retail experience and six months of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Create a positive internal and external customer experience.
Promote honesty, integrity, and confidentiality.
Train and mentor Associates on front-end principles and on personalizing customer interactions while promoting loyalty programs.
Assign registers, respond to point-of-sale coverage needs, and coordinate Associate breaks.
Promptly address customer concerns and issues.
Ensure Associates complete tasks according to the store plan and reprioritize as needed.
Communicate priorities and progress accurately and effectively with management and Associates.
Give and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Partner with Management on Associate training needs.
Ensure adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
