Retail Cleaner
About The Position
Arcus is recruiting a permanent, part-time In Store Cleaner for Sainsbury’s Monks Cross store. The role is 18 hours per week, paid at £12.71 per hour, with an immediate start available. Cleaners help keep the supermarket clean and safe for customers by completing daily cleaning tasks to a high standard. Full training is provided. The current shift pattern is Sunday 07:00–10:00; Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 05:00–08:00; Wednesday off. Weekend work is required. There may be opportunities to increase hours through overtime. The role requires a smartphone with NFC capability to access the Arcus Connect App, used to record time and attendance; providing one is a condition of employment.
Requirements

- Have an eye for detail and cleanliness.
- Have a positive attitude to cleaning and customer service.
Nice To Haves
- Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential.
Responsibilities
- Complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the store.
- Operate cleaning machinery.
- Carry out cleaning such as mopping, vacuuming, wiping and sweeping.
- Clean areas that may include toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows and oven canopies.
- Keep outdoor trolley bays clean and free of leaves and debris.
- Apply health and safety procedures.
