About The Position

Arcus is recruiting a permanent, part-time In Store Cleaner for the Sainsbury’s Monks Cross store. The role is 20 hours per week at £12.71 per hour, with an immediate start available. Cleaners help keep the supermarket clean and safe for customers by completing daily cleaning tasks to a high standard. Full training is provided.

The current schedule is Monday 17:00–20:00, Tuesday and Wednesday 17:00–21:00, and Thursday through Saturday 17:00–20:00, with Sunday off. Overtime may be available to increase hours. The role requires providing a smartphone with NFC capability to access the Arcus Connect App for recording time and attendance.

Requirements

• An eye for detail and cleanliness.
• A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service.
• Provide a smartphone with NFC capability to access the Arcus Connect App; this is a condition of employment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate cleaning machinery.
• Carry out cleaning tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping.
• Clean areas including toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, and oven canopies as required.
• Clean outdoor trolley bays and remove leaves and debris.
• Apply health and safety procedures.
• Use the Arcus Connect App to record time and attendance.
