About The Position

Tailwind Hospitality is seeking a motivated Retail Cashier to provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming shopping experience for travelers. The role handles customer transactions accurately and efficiently, supports a fun and inviting atmosphere, and helps ensure the store is clean, organized, and well stocked. The position requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cash handling and customer service.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and providing change accurately.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficiency with POS systems.
• Must pass a background check to receive an airport badge.
• Must be able to lift 25–30 lbs.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a friendly attitude and assist them with purchases.
• Inspect the Gift Shop and packaged food area to maintain store appearance and organization.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions.
• Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate.
• Process returns and exchanges according to company policies.
• Stock shelves and maintain a clean, organized store environment.
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
