About The Position

As a Retail Cashier at Turning Stone Enterprises, you greet and engage customers, foster a welcoming atmosphere, support sales, and provide informed merchandise recommendations and assistance. You stay informed about casino events and visiting patron groups to help deliver a personalized customer experience. The role processes customer payments and internal charges, maintains accurate cashier records, corrects voids and errors, and follows department procedures for discounts, damages, returns, special orders, transfers, and repairs. At the end of each shift, you close out the MICROS system, prepare monies for bank deposit, and prepare the Cage drop using proper procedures. Starting pay is $16.50 per hour.

Requirements

Previous money-handling experience and basic math skills.
Ability to work in a smoking environment for an entire shift.
Ability to make decisions in a stressful environment.
Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

Greet and engage customers and create a welcoming atmosphere.
Support sales and provide informed merchandise recommendations and assistance.
Stay informed about casino events and visiting patron groups to provide a personalized experience.
Collect payments by cash, credit card, or TS Rewards points and provide proper change.
Process internal charges, including hotel room and city ledger charges, according to department policies.
Accurately complete the daily sheet and correct voids and errors as they occur, following required procedures.
Follow cashier procedures for discounts, damages, returns, special orders, store-to-store transfers, and repairs.
Close out the MICROS system at shift end.
Prepare monies for bank deposit and prepare the Cage drop using proper close-out procedures.
