About The Position

Jacksons is hiring Retail Cashier Floaters to provide coverage at multiple store locations within a designated region when staff are absent, on vacation, or positions are open. The role offers experience at different stores and supports growth in retail skills. Applicants must be able to travel between the listed locations and work any shift, including overnight; flexible shifts may include nights, weekends, and holidays. Both full-time and part-time shifts are available. The minimum age is 21. Locations covered include Federal Way, Edgewood, Tacoma, Sumner, Puyallup, Milton, and Bremerton.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and able to work any shift, including overnight.
• Must be willing to travel to different locations and cover various shifts.
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
• Ability to work independently while being part of a team.
• Comfort with fast-paced environments and multitasking.
• Commitment to doing the right thing and leading by example.
• Frequently stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel or crouch, and talk and listen.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
• Work safely in conditions involving heat, cold, allergens, noise, and fumes, chemicals, or odors from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a friendly attitude.
• Provide fast, accurate checkout and share promotions or discounts.
• Stock and rotate products on shelves and in coolers.
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store.
• Follow company policies and safety procedures.
• Comply with laws governing the sale of restricted items, including alcohol and tobacco.
• In Oregon and where needed, assist with fueling and windshield cleaning.
• For Book Floaters, reconcile paperwork and complete daily deposits.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed.
