About The Position

The Overnight Retail Cashier provides customer service and checkout support during overnight hours. The role processes transactions, keeps the store clean and organized, stocks and rotates shelves, coolers, and displays, and helps maintain a welcoming environment for customers. The posted shift is 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.; eligibility for the overnight shift differential requires working at least four hours between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. The position requires flexible availability for a 24/7 operation, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Ability to work safely in conditions involving heat, cold, allergens, noise, and fumes, chemicals, or odors from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
• Flexible availability for a 24/7 operation, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, thank them for their business, and invite them back.
• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate checkout service.
• Apply discounts and promotions as applicable, following company policies and laws concerning restricted sales such as alcohol and tobacco.
• Maintain a clean and organized store, inside and out.
• Stock and rotate shelves, coolers, and displays properly.
• Assist with additional store duties as needed.
