About The Position

Join Jacksons as an Overnight Retail Cashier, providing customer service during late-night hours in a fast-paced 24/7 store environment. The role includes processing transactions, maintaining a clean and organized store, stocking and rotating merchandise, and helping create a welcoming experience for customers. The overnight shift is 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.; eligibility for the $1.00 overnight shift differential requires working at least four hours between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. The listed pay is $16.50 per hour including the shift differential.

• Frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
• Work safely around heat, cold, allergens, noise, and fumes, chemicals, or odors from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, thank them for their business, and invite them to return.
• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate checkout service.
• Apply discounts and promotions as appropriate while following company policies and laws for restricted sales, including alcohol and tobacco.
• Maintain a clean and organized store, inside and outside.
• Stock and rotate shelves, coolers, and displays properly.
• Assist with additional store duties as needed.
