Overnight Retail Cashier
About The Position
The Overnight Retail Cashier provides friendly, fast, and accurate customer service during overnight hours. The role includes processing transactions, applying discounts and promotions in accordance with company policies and applicable laws, maintaining a clean and organized store, and stocking and rotating merchandise. The cashier may also assist with additional store duties as needed. The scheduled shift is 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. The role requires flexible availability for a 24/7 operation, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Overnight shift differential eligibility requires at least four hours worked between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. The position is at Store #054, 8990 W. Overland Rd, Boise, ID 83709.

- Must meet legal age requirements to sell regulated products such as alcohol and tobacco.
- Frequently stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel or crouch, and talk and listen.
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
- Work safely in conditions involving heat, cold, allergens, noise, and fumes, chemicals, or odors from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, thank them for their business, and invite them back.
- Provide fast, friendly, and accurate checkout service.
- Apply discounts and promotions as applicable while following company policies and laws related to restricted sales, including alcohol and tobacco.
- Maintain a clean and organized store, inside and out.
- Stock and rotate shelves, coolers, and displays properly.
- Assist with additional store duties as needed.
