About The Position

The Overnight Retail Cashier delivers customer service during late-night hours by processing transactions and helping maintain a clean, organized, welcoming store. The role includes checkout service, stocking and rotating merchandise, and assisting with other store duties as needed. The overnight shift is 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.; eligibility for the shift differential requires working at least four hours between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. Pay is $16.50 per hour, including a $1.00 shift differential.

• Frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
• Ability to work safely in conditions involving heat, cold, allergens, noise, and fumes, chemicals, or odors from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, thank them for their business, and invite them to return.
• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate checkout service.
• Apply discounts and promotions as applicable while following company policies and laws governing restricted sales, including alcohol and tobacco.
• Maintain a clean and organized store, inside and out.
• Stock and rotate shelves, coolers, and displays properly.
• Assist with additional store duties as needed.
