About The Position

Love’s Retail Cashiers work in a fast-paced environment, keeping the workplace clean while providing customers with fast, friendly, and accurate service. Cashiers help customers locate items, answer questions about products and services, address customer needs, and complete transactions. They may perform other duties according to business needs, so flexibility and teamwork are important. No prior experience is required; training is provided. The role may also involve cross-training in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, or leadership roles.

Requirements

• Ability to move and lift more than 25 pounds.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Flexibility and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Help customers find items, answer questions about products and services, and address customer needs.
• Complete customer transactions and balance the cash register while offering additional sales opportunities and following state and local laws.
• Use various methods and technology to maintain proper food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products.
• Clean the direct work area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, and gas and diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
• Potentially cross-train in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
