About The Position

Omaha Steaks is hiring a temporary Retail Bagger/Stocker in Fort Myers, Florida, starting at $16.00 per hour. The role primarily involves accurately picking and bagging Buy Online, Ship from Store (BOSS) orders and stocking products from the freezer. The employee also helps receive deliveries and place them in the walk-in freezer, and may assist in bagging purchases for in-store customers and carrying them to customers’ vehicles. The position supports store operations by updating inventory in the POS system, assisting with opening and closing procedures, helping manage guest flow during busy periods, and supporting curbside and Buy Online, Pick Up in Store (BOPIS) orders. It also includes maintaining store cleanliness and appearance, sanitizing surfaces, and completing other assigned duties. The role does not involve ringing orders into the POS or RMO. Employees may be asked to work on high-volume sales days.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
May operate a two-wheel cart.
Able to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with team members.
Ensure correct item selection, proper bagging, and accurate inventory updates.
Understanding of retail operations, including BOSS and BOPIS processes.
Familiarity with product locations, basic stocking procedures, and health and safety standards.
High attention to detail for accurate order fulfillment.
Able to accurately adjust and maintain inventory levels in the POS system.

Responsibilities

Accurately select and prepare Buy Online, Ship from Store (BOSS) orders for shipment.
Identify and restock front-end products, and stock freezers according to operational procedures and Store Manager guidance.
Update inventory in the POS system daily to maintain accurate stock levels for order fulfillment.
Support store opening and closing procedures, including securing the store.
Bag items for guests during checkout, ensuring reasonable weight distribution among bags.
Carry and load bagged merchandise into guests’ vehicles.
Assist with line control and manage the flow of guests entering the store during busy periods.
Pick and pull orders for curbside guests; assist with picking, packing, and finalizing BOPIS orders.
Answer the phone and respond to guest questions.
Assist with receiving deliveries and placing products in the walk-in freezer.
Maintain the store’s appearance and cleanliness, including sanitizing surfaces, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning bathrooms.
Perform other duties as assigned.
