About The Position

Omaha Steaks is hiring a temporary Retail Bagger/Stocker in Mansfield, Massachusetts. The role primarily involves selecting and bagging Buy Online, Ship from Store (BOSS) orders and stocking shelves and freezers. It also supports receiving deliveries, placing products in the walk-in freezer, assisting in-store customers, and helping load purchases into customers’ vehicles. The position supports store operations, order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, guest service, and store cleanliness.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Able to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with team members.
Ensure correct item selection, proper bagging during checkout, and accurate inventory updates.
Understanding of retail operations, including BOSS and BOPIS processes.
Familiarity with product locations, basic stocking procedures, and health and safety standards.
High attention to detail for accurate order fulfillment.
Able to accurately adjust and maintain inventory levels in the POS system.
May operate a two-wheel cart.

Responsibilities

Accurately select items and prepare Buy Online, Ship from Store (BOSS) orders for shipment.
Identify and restock front-end products and stock freezers according to operational procedures and Store Manager guidance.
Update inventory daily in the POS system to maintain accurate stock levels for BOSS order fulfillment.
Support store opening and closing procedures, including securing the store.
Bag items during checkout, ensuring reasonable weight and distribution among bags.
Carry and load bagged merchandise into guests’ vehicles.
Assist with line control during busy periods and manage the flow of guests entering the store.
Pick and pull orders for curbside guests.
Answer phone calls and guest questions, and assist with picking, packing, and finalizing Buy Online, Pick Up in Store (BOPIS) orders.
Assist with receiving deliveries and placing products in the walk-in freezer.
Maintain the store’s appearance and sanitize surfaces throughout the day.
Clean the store, including vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning bathrooms.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Work on high-volume sales days.
