About The Position

Omaha Steaks is hiring a temporary Retail Bagger/Stocker in Annapolis, Maryland, starting at $16.00 per hour. The role primarily involves picking and bagging Buy Online, Ship from Store (BOSS) orders and stocking shelves and freezers. The employee may also help receive and store deliveries, assist in-store customers with bagging and carrying purchases to their vehicles, and support curbside and Buy Online, Pick Up in Store (BOPIS) orders. The position also includes maintaining inventory records, assisting with store opening and closing, helping manage customer flow, answering phones, and maintaining store cleanliness and appearance.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with team members.
Attention to detail in order selection, bagging, and inventory updates.
Ability to accurately adjust and maintain inventory levels in the POS system.
Familiarity with product locations, basic stocking procedures, and health and safety standards.
Understanding of retail operations, including BOSS and BOPIS processes.
May operate a two-wheel cart.

Responsibilities

Accurately select items and prepare Buy Online, Ship from Store (BOSS) orders for shipment.
Identify and restock front-end products, and stock freezers according to operational procedures and the Store Manager’s guidance.
Update inventory in the POS system daily to maintain accurate stock levels for BOSS order fulfillment.
Support store opening and closing procedures, including securing the store.
Bag customers’ items at checkout and distribute weight reasonably among bags.
Carry and load bagged merchandise into customers’ vehicles.
Assist with line control during busy periods and manage the flow of guests entering the store.
Pick and pull orders for curbside customers.
Answer phone calls and customer questions, and assist with picking, packing, and finalizing BOPIS orders.
Assist with receiving deliveries and placing products in the walk-in freezer.
Maintain the store’s overall appearance and sanitize surfaces throughout the day.
Clean the store, including vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning bathrooms.
Perform other duties as assigned.
