About The Position

Omaha Steaks is hiring a temporary Retail Bagger/Stocker in Cranston, Rhode Island, at a starting pay of $17.25 per hour. The role primarily fulfills Buy Online, Ship from Store (BOSS) orders by selecting and bagging items, and stocks products from the freezer. It also supports receiving deliveries, assisting in-store and curbside customers, maintaining inventory records, and keeping the store clean and secure. The position may involve working on high-volume sales days.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Able to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with team members.
Accurately select items, bag purchases, and update inventory records.
Understanding of retail operations, including BOSS and BOPIS processes.
Familiarity with product locations, basic stocking procedures, and health and safety standards.
High attention to detail for accurate order fulfillment.
Able to accurately adjust and maintain inventory levels in the POS system.
May operate a two-wheel cart.

Responsibilities

Accurately select items and prepare Buy Online, Ship from Store (BOSS) orders for shipment.
Identify and restock front-end products and stock freezers according to procedures and Store Manager guidance.
Update inventory in the POS system daily to maintain accurate stock levels for order fulfillment and restocking.
Support store opening and closing procedures, including securing the store.
Bag items for customers during checkout, distributing weight reasonably among bags.
Carry and load bagged merchandise into customers’ vehicles.
Assist with line control and manage the flow of customers entering the store during busy periods.
Pick and pull orders for curbside customers.
Answer the phone and customer questions; assist with picking, packing, and finalizing Buy Online, Pick Up in Store (BOPIS) orders.
Assist with receiving deliveries and placing products in the walk-in freezer.
Maintain the store’s appearance and sanitize surfaces throughout the day.
Keep the store clean, including vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning bathrooms.
Perform other duties as assigned.
