About The Position

Grandpa Joe's Candy Shop is seeking a Retail Associate to help create memorable guest experiences. The associate greets customers, guides them through their visit, and helps ensure they leave satisfied and eager to return. The position focuses on customer service, teamwork, maintaining an inviting store, and contributing to the business and its community. The role is 15–25 hours per week, with availability required for evenings, weekends, and holidays, primarily nights and weekends. Retail experience is a plus, but passionate and dedicated candidates are encouraged to apply. Grandpa Joe's Candy Shop began in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 2012 and has grown to 23 locations across Pennsylvania, Ohio, Florida, West Virginia, Texas, and Minnesota. It also distributes candy and soda nationally to more than 15,000 independent retailers.

Requirements

Dependable and hardworking, with availability for 15–25 hours per week.
Available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays, primarily nights and weekends.
Outgoing personality and enjoyment of interacting with children and other customers.
Friendly, fun, and easy-going; works well with others and understands how individual actions affect the team.
Passionate about maintaining a clean and inviting workspace and interested in visual merchandising.
Self-motivated, with the ability to follow directions and help drive the store forward.
Passionate and dedicated, and aligned with the company's vision and values.
