About The Position

The Retail Associate delivers a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers, following customer experience principles, and keeping the store clean and organized. The role adheres to operational, merchandise, loss prevention, safety, and labor standards and may involve cross-training in multiple areas to support business needs. The associate also supports a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.

Responsibilities

• Role-model customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Ring customer purchases and returns accurately and count change according to operating procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow merchandising procedures and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
• Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards, and help maintain cleanliness throughout the store.
• Give and receive recognition and constructive feedback.
• Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
