Retail Associate - Marshall
About The Position
Goodwill of the Great Plains is seeking several Retail Associates to provide customers with an exemplary experience and atmosphere through outstanding customer service and by maintaining a clean, inviting, and shoppable store. The role includes handling sales transactions and cash, stocking and rotating merchandise, accepting donations, and processing donated items for the sales floor. This is a full-time position paying $15.00 per hour. Goodwill describes its compensation approach as performance-based, competitive with organizations with similar missions, and commensurate with the employee’s level of responsibility. Eligible benefits may include a Personal Day, Birthday Day Off, and six paid holidays upon hire, as well as health, dental, and vision insurance after 30 days of employment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure sales transactions are rung up appropriately, monies are collected and counted, and correct change is given.
- Maintain cash register supplies.
- Stock and rotate goods on the sales floor.
- Accept donated items safely, courteously, and efficiently in accordance with store guidelines.
- Process donated items to produce inventory for the sales floor.
