About The Position

Promote and support Red Wing Shoe Company’s brand image through professional selling, customer loyalty, and lasting customer relationships. The role uses the Ultimate Fit Experience (UFX) to help customers find appropriate footwear, sells premium products, and provides conscientious customer service. It also supports the daily operations and presentation of the retail store while maintaining product knowledge, safety, and company standards. Spanish bilingual ability is preferred.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
Must be age 18 or older within 30 days of application.
1–2 years of relevant experience.
Results-oriented.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Computer utilization skills.
Able to lift 50 pounds; bend or squat to lace shoes; lift overhead; twist; climb a ladder; and stand for long periods.
Perform housekeeping duties including vacuuming, mopping and waxing floors, washing windows, using disinfectant chemicals, discarding trash, maintaining recycling, and installing and maintaining furniture, fixtures, and displays.

Responsibilities

Guide each customer through the Ultimate Fit Experience.
Recommend appropriate accessories and educate customers on their benefits.
Generate industrial sales leads.
Achieve and exceed daily productivity and sales goals.
Maintain the sales floor presentation, store signage, and housekeeping standards.
Maintain proficiency in product knowledge, technical standards, and operating standards through continuous learning.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organizational standards and legal regulations.
Provide direct support for daily retail store operations.
Maintain knowledge of the company's electronic communication software.
Establish, follow, and enforce organizational quality-system standards to maintain quality service.
Uphold Red Wing Shoe Company’s core values and policies.
Build collaborative relationships with people the employee works or interacts with.
Perform additional duties as required.
