About The Position

The Retail Associate promotes and supports Red Wing Shoe Company’s brand image through professional selling, customer loyalty, and lasting relationships. The role delivers the Ultimate Fit Experience (UFX), sells premium products, and provides conscientious customer service. Associates also support daily store operations, maintain the sales floor, and uphold company standards for product knowledge, safety, and service. Spanish bilingual ability is preferred.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
Must be at least 18 years old within 30 days of application.
1–2 years of relevant experience.
Results-oriented.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to use computers.
Ability to meet the listed physical demands, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending or squatting, overhead lifting, twisting, climbing a ladder, and standing for long periods.
Ability to perform housekeeping duties, including vacuuming, mopping and waxing floors, washing windows, using disinfectant chemicals, handling trash and recycling, and installing or maintaining furniture, fixtures, and displays.

Responsibilities

Guide each customer through Red Wing Shoe Company’s Ultimate Fit Experience.
Recommend appropriate accessories and educate customers about their benefits.
Generate industrial sales leads.
Achieve and exceed daily productivity and sales goals.
Maintain sales-floor presentation, store signage, and housekeeping standards.
Maintain product knowledge and proficiency with technical and operating standards through continuous learning.
Help maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organizational standards and legal regulations.
Provide direct support for daily retail store operations.
Maintain knowledge of the company’s electronic communication software and obtain necessary information.
Establish, follow, and enforce organizational quality-system standards to maintain quality service.
Uphold Red Wing Shoe Company’s core values and policies.
Build collaborative relationships with colleagues and other key contacts.
Perform additional duties as required.
