About The Position

The Retail Associate promotes Red Wing Shoe Company’s brand through professional selling, customer loyalty, and lasting customer relationships. The role guides customers through the Ultimate Fit Experience, sells premium products, recommends and explains accessories, and provides conscientious service. It also supports daily store operations and maintains sales-floor presentation, signage, housekeeping, product knowledge, and safe-work standards.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
Must be age 18 or older within 30 days of application.
1–2 years of relevant experience.
Results-oriented.
Effective written and verbal communication.
Computer utilization skills.
Ability to lift 50 pounds; bend or squat to lace shoes; lift overhead; twist; climb a ladder; and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

Guide each customer through Red Wing Shoe Company’s Ultimate Fit Experience.
Recommend appropriate accessories and educate customers about their benefits.
Generate industrial sales leads.
Achieve and exceed daily productivity and sales goals.
Maintain the integrity of sales-floor presentation, store signage, and housekeeping standards.
Maintain product knowledge and proficiency with technical and operating standards through continuous learning.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organizational standards and legal regulations.
Provide direct support for daily retail store operations.
Maintain knowledge of the company’s electronic communication software to obtain necessary information.
Establish, follow, and enforce organizational quality-system standards to maintain quality service.
Uphold Red Wing Shoe Company’s core values and policies.
Build collaborative relationships with colleagues and other key people.
Perform additional duties as required.
Perform housekeeping duties, including vacuuming, mopping and waxing floors, washing windows, using disinfectant chemicals, discarding trash, maintaining recycling, and installing and maintaining furniture, fixtures, and displays.
