About The Position

The Retail Associate promotes and supports Red Wing Shoe Company’s brand through professional selling, customer loyalty, and lasting customer relationships. The role delivers the Ultimate Fit Experience (UFX), sells premium products, and provides conscientious customer service. It also supports daily retail store operations and maintains the store’s sales presentation, signage, housekeeping, and safety standards. Spanish bilingual ability is preferred.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
Must be age 18 or older within 30 days of application.
1–2 years of relevant experience.
Results oriented.
Effective written and verbal communication.
Computer utilization.
Ability to lift 50 pounds; bend or squat to lace shoes; lift overhead; twist; climb a ladder; and stand for long periods.
Spanish bilingual ability is preferred.

Responsibilities

Guide each customer through Red Wing Shoe Company’s Ultimate Fit Experience.
Recommend appropriate accessories and educate customers about their benefits.
Generate industrial sales leads.
Achieve and exceed daily productivity and sales goals.
Maintain the integrity of the sales floor presentation, store signage, and housekeeping standards.
Maintain proficiency in product knowledge, technical standards, and operating standards through continuous learning.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organizational standards and legal regulations.
Provide direct support in the daily operations of the retail store.
Maintain knowledge of the company’s electronic communication software and obtain necessary information.
Establish, follow, and enforce organizational quality system standards to maintain quality service.
Uphold Red Wing Shoe Company’s core values and policies.
Build collaborative relationships with people encountered at work.
Perform additional duties as required.
Complete housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, mopping and waxing floors, washing windows, using disinfectant chemicals, discarding trash, maintaining recycling, and installing and maintaining furniture, fixtures, and displays.
