Retail Part Time Seasonal Associate
About The Position
The Retail Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean, organized store. The role follows operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards and may include cross-training in multiple store areas to support business needs. Duties also include processing purchases and returns, promoting credit and loyalty programs, preparing merchandise for the sales floor, supporting store recovery and cleanliness, and contributing to safety and shrink-reduction efforts.

Responsibilities
- Role-model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Ring customer purchases and returns accurately and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow the merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
- Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards, and help maintain cleanliness throughout the store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
