About The Position

The Retail Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and keeping the store clean and organized. The role adheres to operational, merchandise, loss prevention, labor, and safety standards and may involve cross-training in multiple store areas to support business needs. The position is seasonal and part-time at the TJ Maxx store at 1250 South Koeller Street, Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Starting pay is $13.25 to $13.75 per hour, with actual pay determined by relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities

Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Follow the merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain the cleanliness of the entire store.
Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
